Taken from the Honest Girl Scouts campaign. For a campaign trying to get people /not/ to buy cookies and /not/ support the GSUSA, this is doing an awful lot to suddenly make me want /to/ support the GSUSA. (and I’m saying this a a former Girl Scout of about 6 years who hasn’t bought cookies in years because they’re too expensive). 

I see so much acceptance here, and especially in a time in children’s lives where acceptance is so important, taking that away from them is just cruel.

LOL at the idea of this making me not want to support them.

Exactly. But you know, this is the exact language (like “hiding ‘transgenders’ - boys who wish they were girls - in Girl Scout troops through out the U.S.”) that appeals to many bigots. And makes me want to kick this “Honest” org in the teeth.

So, for peeps who want to buy cookies, find your local troupe HERE.

Yeah, this definitely makes me want to support the Girl Scouts more - and makes me proud that I was a Girl Scout, back in the day.
